To maximize both academic and non-academic performance, Bachelor of Applied English Vocational College Universitas Gadjah Mada collaborates with several organizations. The collaborations established are in the field of Education, Community Service and Research, which are the three important pillars in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Not only for lecturers, this program also opens up wider opportunities for students to learn and practice directly in the field. Bachelor of Applied English collaborates with a number of national and international organizations, including VIA, Dlingo Digital Media, Balai Budaya Mino Martani Community, and Kinanthi Sekar Art Studio.
1. Volunteers in Asia (VIA)
Volunteers in Asia (VIA) is a non-profit organization focusing their activity to increase the cooperation as well as understanding between the United States and Asia through community service and education. VIA and Vocational College UGM collaborate through student and lecturer exchange and research activities in information and technology.
2. Dlingo Digital Media
Dlingo Digital Media is a digital marketing agency located in Dlingo, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This agency provides SEO services and website creation as a strategic tool to introduce the economy, creativity, tourism, and other potential within Dlingo. Appart from holding public lectures, Dlingo Digital Media collaborates with Vocational College UGM by facilitating students’ on their field work..
3. Balai Budaya Minomartani (BBM) Community
Balai Budaya Minomartani community is a community association based in Minomartani village, Sleman, Yogyakarta. It aims to preserve the cultural herritage of the community. This community collaborates with Vocational College UGM in the fields of education, research, and community service.
4. Kinanti Sekar Art Studio
his art studio helps preserving local culture through dance activities, Javanese script use, and pantomime. The collaboration between the Vocational College UGM and Kinanti Sekar Art Studio facilitates students to explore performing arts by engaging directly with a number of artists who are members of the studio
