Alih Program Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada is the transfer of students from study programs that were formerly Diploma 3 students to become Diploma 4 Students or equivalent to Applied Bachelor’s. This program can only be attended by fresh graduate students and alumni of Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada who graduated in the 2017, 2018 and 2019 periods. Alih Program or also called Alih Jenjang at Sekolah Vokasi Universitas Gadjah Mada is only open for 3 years, starting in 2019, 2020, and 2021. The requirements for fresh graduate students or alumni who want to register for this Transfer Program include:
- Minimum GPA of 3.00
- Maximum Study Period 3 years 4 months (Calculated SKL, not graduation date)
“S.Tr. graduates equivalent to a graduate of S1 and can work in a job of the same level. For further studies, graduates of S.Tr. can continue to S2 and S2 applied both at home and abroad, “explained the Dean of Sekolah Vokasi UGM, Wikan Sakarinto, Ph.D., in a press conference that took place Tuesday (30/4) at the UGM Central Building. He also explained, Applied Bachelor is an equivalent program of S1, namely at level 6 KKNI, which applies 60% practice and 40% theory in its learning.
The study period taken by students is around 4 years, with the portion of lectures completed in 7 semesters, while in the last semester Applied Bachelor students will carry out internships in industry. At the end of their study period, graduates of the Applied Bachelor program will have a diploma and transcript, competency certification, English proficiency certificate, certificate of companion certificate, and prototype or product which is one of the requirements for graduation. As for the Transfer Program in the field of English language studies only apply temporarily until 2021. The criteria or conditions for joining the Transfer Program in the D4 English Study Program include:
- Minimum GPA of 3.00
- Maximum Study Period 3 years 4 months (Calculated SKL, not graduation date)
- Tests of English proficiency
